RESTORATIVE YOGA

RESTFUL session

Restorative Yoga is an entirely restful experience aimed at busting physical and mental burnouts, helping you to manage stress, insomnia, depression, anxiety and loss of cognitive functions. Firstly, it is well known to help promote mindfulness; secondly, deep tranquillity; thirdly, mood balance; and finally, pain management.

These sessions combine ancient Hindu and Mayan practices to balance the sympathetic and peripheral nervous systems and, as a result, promote relaxation, healing and repair.

Think Yoga, ancient Mayan-inspired cacao ceremony, meditation and immersive gateway experience, letting go or opening up to anything that is restful, peaceful and still; in other words, a path to cossetted healing and injury prevention.

What to expect in a session?

In these classes, props are not just accessories but a vital part of Restorative Yoga. Basically, you’ll transition in and out of three (3) to five (5) poses without standing postures. Above all, the comforting support of bolsters, blankets, blocks, sandbags, straps, and eye pillow pillows will wrap you in a peaceful environment, ensuring your comfort and relaxation. In conclusion, expect to find a quiet, grounding practice with plenty of space for peace, tranquillity, and meditation.
