BACKGROUND
Inspired by her profound experience in the field of Biomedicine and her motherhood journey around neurodevelopmental disorders, Carina has developed a distinctive wellness experience curriculum. As a matter of fact, a curriculum that certainly can help people understand the multi-faceted approach to health and well-being.

Originally from Venezuela, Carina specializes in providing yoga, meditation, and mindfulness coaching in English and Spanish.

EDUCATION & TRAINING
Carina holds an MSc from Manchester Metropolitan University with a strong background in medical microbiology as a Chartered Scientist in the UK. Besides, she is an Ayurvedic lifestyle teacher and Zumba Instructor. She is not only a registered mindfulness coach but also a certified yoga RYT200 instructor.
As a STEM Ambassador, she makes a difference to young people and her community by tackling local education needs sustainably and connecting young people with opportunities right on their doorstep. Her coaching skills have been developed through a combination of Western and Eastern philosophy and the study of various techniques, including Neuro-Linguistic Programming, Yoga Meditation, Mindfulness, Ayurveda, and Pranayama breathwork.

I am a qualified Yoga, Meditation, and Ayurvedic Lifestyle teacher. Additionally, I have completed extensive, internationally recognized training programs that have enabled me to meet the proficiency standards necessary for the safe and effective practice of these ancient holistic healing and wellness sciences.
For me, the practice of Yoga and Meditation is more than just physical education and certainly not a mystical ritual. Without doubt, it is a unique journey of self-discovery, that allows you to listen to your body and mind and enlighten your soul.
In essence, you learn to focus on your desires, reflect on and eliminate any obstacles that may be hindering you, and refine your approach to ensure you stay on the path to well-being. As a result, you can achieve a quality of life that is uniquely your own.
