THE ORENNA EXPERIENCE
Personal by Design

A private approach to rest and restorative practice. At Orenna Wellness, private yoga in Inverness begins with the individual. Your preferences, intentions and comfort guide the preparation of an experience that brings together specialist yoga, gentle breath awareness and meditation.

Before your visit, a personal consultation helps us understand what you would like to explore, your previous experience and any relevant considerations. We then prepare the practice, guidance and environment with you in mind.

During your appointment, there is time to settle, ask questions and explore alternatives. As your practice unfolds, your practitioner can adjust positions and supports to suit your comfort and preferences.

Personalisation is not an addition to the experience. It is how the experience is designed. Every experience is uniquely yours

ENTIRELY YOUR OWN

A Space Reserved for You

We reserve the Orenna studio exclusively for your appointment.

One guest. One practitioner. A private setting dedicated to your individual experience.

There is no group to follow, no audience and no expectation to keep pace with anyone else. Instead, you have the freedom to explore the practice through personal guidance, considered adjustments and your own rhythm.

Whether you are discovering yoga for the first time or returning to an established practice, we begin with your individual circumstances.

The time is yours.

THE ORENNA PHILOSOPHY

Considered in Every Detail

Six principles guide how we prepare, deliver and communicate every Orenna experience.

01

Personal by Design

Your preferences, intentions and comfort inform the experience from preparation to conclusion.

02

Accessible Practice

We can adapt positions, supports, pace and guidance where appropriate.

03

Evidence-Informed

We consider relevant evidence carefully, recognise its limitations and avoid promising particular outcomes.

04

Culturally Respectful

We approach yoga’s Indian origins, philosophical traditions and continuing development with curiosity and respect.

05

Sensory-Aware

We treat light, sound, temperature, texture and optional aromas as individual choices.

06

Professional Boundaries

Orenna provides yoga and mindfulness experiences, not medical assessment, diagnosis or treatment.

Tradition is respected. Evidence is considered. Experience remains individual.

CONSIDERED FROM BEGINNING TO END

Your Orenna Journey

An Orenna experience is more than the practice itself.

From the moment you arrive, we consider each part of your visit. Together, these elements create a natural progression from a personal welcome and individual practice to a gentle conclusion and time for yourself.

The following journey offers a glimpse of what to expect. However, it is a guide rather than a fixed schedule, allowing your experience to unfold at a pace appropriate for you.

Time Dedicated to the Entire Experience

A private approach to rest and restorative practice.

A Personal Welcome

Arrive to a quiet welcome with your choice of water or herbal tea. Take time to settle into the space and become comfortable in your surroundings. Your practitioner will confirm your preferences and answer any questions before beginning. You are welcome to share how you feel, but there is no expectation to do so.

Your UNIQUE Practice

Begin with a personal intention, should you wish. Your practitioner guides you through your chosen yoga discipline, incorporating suitable movement or positioning, gentle breath awareness and meditation. There is time to explore alternatives and make adjustments whenever needed. The practice remains responsive to you throughout.

A Gentle Conclusion

Your practice draws to a gradual close, allowing time to return comfortably to movement and awareness. Your practitioner offers gentle guidance as you transition from stillness, with space to notice how you feel and adjust your position as needed. There is no need to hurry or move abruptly from the practice into the remainder of your visit, at your own pace.

A Moment to Remain

Enjoy water or herbal tea and a little time for yourself as your experience comes to a gentle conclusion. You may ask questions, write a private reflection or simply enjoy the quiet. Remain in the space without any expectation to speak, reflect or participate further. Nothing needs to be shared, and you are welcome to leave whenever you feel ready.

Tradition is respected. Evidence is considered. Experience remains individual.

BEYOND THE STANDARD EXPERIENCE

A More Personal Exploration

For those wishing to explore further, the Bespoke Personalised Experience offers an extended, individually composed journey through yoga, mindfulness and considered hospitality.

A detailed consultation informs your practice, meditation and sensory choices. You can explore an expanded sensory collection and enjoy a participatory beverage ritual, with additional time for personal attention.

A CONSIDERED ENVIRONMENT

Sensory-Aware by Design

A peaceful environment does not feel the same to everyone. Some people welcome gentle music; others prefer silence. Similarly, a particular texture may feel comforting to one guest and unsuitable to another.

At Orenna, we consider lighting, sound, temperature, supportive materials and optional aromas according to your preferences. You can also choose from a carefully curated selection, request adjustments or decline an element altogether.

Your choices guide the environment. In this way, we prepare the space to complement your practice, not compete with it.

LIGHT

Lighting considered for your comfort.

SOUND

Selected music or silence.

AROMA

Optional and subject to preference.

TEXTURE

Materials chosen with care.

THE DETAILS MATTER

Considered Comfort

Thoughtful hospitality is found in the details that allow you to arrive, practise and leave without feeling hurried.

Your experience includes a personal welcome, your choice of water or herbal tea, and the equipment needed for your practice.

Before you arrive, we prepare mats, bolsters, blankets, blocks and other suitable supports for your individual session. We can also provide additional comfort options according to your preferences.

There is time to remain after the practice, too. Paper and pencil are available for private reflection. Alternatively, you can enjoy your drink or simply sit quietly.

Each detail has a purpose: to make your visit feel comfortable, personal and unhurried.

EXPERIENCE · UNDERSTAND · CONTINUE

Something to Take with You

Your experience need not end when you leave Orenna.

Throughout your appointment, there is time to ask questions, explore alternatives and develop a clearer understanding of the practice.

After your visit, you receive personalised electronic Practice Notes containing selected guidance from your session.

These notes provide a practical reference for continuing suitable elements of your practice at home. They reflect your individual experience rather than a generic sequence.

A thoughtful continuation of the time dedicated to you.
