Are you ready to uncover the guiding principles of essential oils for meditation and self-care? If so, this workshop is perfect for anyone looking to delve deeper into this fascinating subject or those who have oils and need the knowledge and confidence to know exactly what to do with them.

During this workshop, you will gain insights into the nature of essential oils. Firstly, you will discover their origins, understand safety considerations, and select essential oils for aromatic and therapeutic purposes. Furthermore, you will learn the rules for mixing and blending oils and the various application methods.
Secondly, you will be able to learn how to develop unique blends that are well-suited to your individual preferences. On top of that, as a gesture of our appreciation, you will receive a complimentary bottle of pure essential oil to further your well-being journey.

By the end of this workshop, you should be able to safely select, blend, identify and use three essential oils at home. Moreover, you will understand the benefits and uses of common essential oils for health and well-being.

Finally, before attending the workshop, you must complete a health form. Basically, this ensures that none of the oils is unsuitable for you, providing a safe and pleasant experience.

It is a holistic practice that utilises essential oils extracted from fresh plants to enhance physical and psychological well-being. Certainly, Aromatherapy complements and enhances other alternative and traditional therapies such as Ayurveda, Batch flowers, counselling, Yoga and Meditation.
In our experience, Aromatherapy can help create a nurturing atmosphere, promoting physical relaxation, calmness, restfulness, and reducing anxiety.

Pure essential oils are natural, aromatic compounds found in plants. They are highly concentrated and can be used aromatically, topically, and internally for physical, mental, and emotional wellness.

Integrating essential oils into our daily routines can profoundly affect us physically, psychologically and physiologically. For instance, essential oils can stimulate, calm, rejuvenate and balance your body and state of mind.

Although essential oils have an extensive and successful history of use spanning centuries, they still can induce side effects, such as rash, asthma, headache, and harm to a foetus.

Firstly, essential oils are highly volatile and flammable. So, under no circumstances should they be used near an open flame.
Secondly, essential oils are highly concentrated, so remember to dilute them before applying them to your skin. As a general rule of thumb, use 1-2 drops of essential oil per tablespoon of carrier oil.
Thirdly, avoid inhaling undiluted oils directly, which can lead to irritation. When using a diffuser, follow the manufacturer’s instructions and ensure good ventilation. Prolonged exposure to high concentrations of essential oils can cause heart and lung issues.
Finally, as with any new therapy, people receiving medical care for any illness should talk to their doctors about any aromatherapy they plan on using.

Other complementary alternative therapies, such as Ayurveda, counselling, yoga, relaxation, and meditation, can add value to prevention and treatment.
Another important point is that essential oils are a gentle and natural approach, and, most importantly, they can be used alongside prescribed medication, providing a safe and complementary option.

Only professionals such as aromatherapists and physical therapists should administer essential oils orally.
